NIP 126 — Introduction to Alterations in Health and Wellness
Examines nursing concepts utilizing the nursing process as the framework for organizing person-centered care for patients with physiological and psychological alterations. Explores the health needs of patients of varied psychosocial backgrounds and diverse populations, including child-bearing populations. Incorporates clinical judgment in providing safe, evidence-based, and professional nursing care. Lecture: 7 credits (105 contact hours). Clinical: 3 credit hours (135 contact hours).
