HIT 110 — Legal & Ethical Issues in Health Information
Includes legal principles and issues that govern health information management and patient medical records. Covers ethical issues as they relate to the security and dissemination of patient health information and corporate compliance programs. Minimum grade of "C". Lecture: 2 credits (30 contact hours).
