FLM 291 — Cinematic Arts Internship
Prepares students for entry into Bachelor of Fine Arts programs and film schools nationwide or for the workforce in film production. Amplifies knowledge and practice in screenwriting, producing, directing, camera, lighting, set design, graphics, audio, acting, music, and editing. Provides on-the-job experience in the film industry, requiring a minimum of 180 contact hours of appropriate experience approved by the faculty member. Requires a learning contract, signed by the student, faculty member, and supervisor. Provides experience writing a resume, attending guest lectures, and on-the-job training. Practicum: 3 credits (180 contact hours).
