Focuses on the advanced study of motor controls used in industry. Focuses on solid state relays, hall effect sensors, proximity detectors and photo detectors. Examines the sketching, installing and troubleshooting the following: three phase controls, variable speed drives, relays, solid state devices, and programmable controls. Lecture: 3 credits (45 contact hours); Laboratory: 4 credits (120 contact hours).
