Introduces students to electrical control devices and their various applications used in industry. Students will focus on the identification and installation of relays, motor starters, contactors, push-button controls, switches, control transformers, and various other controls used in industrial applications. Emphasizes the importance of safety and electrical lockouts. Lecture: 2 credits (30 contact hours). Laboratory: 2 credits (60 contact hours).
