PMED 0260 - Paramedic Concepts-Medical Emergencies PMED 0260 - Paramedic Concepts-Medical Emergencies 4 Credit Hours In this course the student will build upon the two previous semester content to identify, assess, and manage illnesses and injuries involving various patient conditions and settings through didactic and scenariobased sim/lab. During this course, students will cover neonatology and pediatric emergencies. Students will also take the American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider Course and American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider Course. Successful affirmation as a provider in this class is a requirement for completing the course. Although this class covers the entire lifespan, special attention will be given to the geriatric and pediatric populations.
