PHTR 0180 - Clinical Skills II PHTR 0180 - Clinical Skills II 2 Credit Hours This course is designed to continue instruction in the basic skills needed to be successful in the clinical setting. Topics covered will include health care systems, reimbursement, the health care team, the statues, rules and regulations governing the PTA in the state of Kansas, and discharge planning. In addition, the student will review and expand on safe treatment preparation, patient positioning, vital sign monitoring and functional mobility skills (bed mobility, transfers, and gait training, etc.).
