ENGL 0107 - Children’s Literature (T►) ENGL 0107 - Children’s Literature (T►) (SGE) 060 & 070 - 3 Credit Hours Children’s Literature is a course designed to engage students with literature for young readers in ways that demonstrate the complexity and significance of these texts. It is especially useful for students going into Education (Early Childhood and K-12 Education), library sciences, English, or design students interested in picture books and illustrated literature. Students will be introduced to how ideas about children and books have changed over time and continue to change. Students will read, examine, and critique a variety of children’s literature in order to understand how complex and exciting these often-underestimated books really are.
