ECED 0220 - Social, Emotional Development and Behavior ECED 0220 - Social, Emotional Development and Behavior 3 Credit Hours The Social Emotional Development and Behavior course involves the study of classroom management, building self-esteem, positive discipline strategies, and social and emotional development in children. Emphasis is placed on managing the environment, difficult behaviors, and preventing child abuse. Students focus on appropriate materials and activities, interacting through play, and fostering friendships and group relations with respect to cultural, linguistic, and cultural diversity.
