ECED 0143 - Creative Activities for Young Children ECED 0143 - Creative Activities for Young Children 3 Credit Hours The Creative Activities for Young Children course covers planning, creation, and adaptation of developmentally supportive learning environments with attention to curriculum, interactions, teaching practices, and learning materials in inclusive environments. Emphasis is placed on creating and adapting integrated, meaningful, challenging, and engaging developmentally supportive learning experiences for all children in visual arts, music, movement, and dramatics. The course requires 10 hours of in-class experience at a program serving children 0 to age 8. Primary settings include NAEYC-accredited programs or licensed family, group, center, Head Start, faith-based, public, or private pre-k -grade-3 settings.
