CRJS 0209 - Community Corrections CRJS 0209 - Community Corrections 3 Credit Hours In this course students examine all forms of community-based correctional facilities and the origins, organization and trends in current traditional corrections and focus on non-traditional community corrections: electronic monitoring, house arrest, daytreatment, boot-camp, and fines. Additional topics covered include legislative strategies to the offender and protect the community.
