COMS 0161 - Debate COMS 0161 - Debate 2 Credit Hours This course expands the study of the principles of basic argumentation and discussion. Students are introduced to higher levels of research techniques including online data bases such as Lexis/Nexis. Research of a current major national or international controversy, is used as the model for gathering the research. Students are expected to participate in intercollegiate debate competition.
