COMC 0130 - Introduction to Commercial Construction Welding COMC 0130 - Introduction to Commercial Construction Welding 3 Credit Hours Through classroom and/or shop/lab learning and assessment activities, students in this course will: explain various welding techniques, demonstrate the safe and correct setup of the welding workstation.; correlate electrode classifications with base metals and joint criteria; demonstrate proper electrode selection, build pads of weld beads with selected electrodes in the flat position; build pads of weld beads with selected electrodes in the horizontal position. Pre-requisites: COMC 0101 and COMC 0102
