ALHT 0118 - Phlebotomy Clinical Training ALHT 0118 - Phlebotomy Clinical Training 1 Credit Hours This course allows students to practice the principles and practices of the phlebotomy technician’s role. Students will complete at least 45 clock hours of clinical training and orientation in an acceptable laboratory environment. Students must also complete at least 30 successful unaided venipunctures and 10 capillary punctures in the laboratory environment. Upon completion of this course, the student is eligible to sit for the Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) exam through the National Healthcareer Association. Pre-requisites: Take ALHT 0117
