XRAY 1033 — : Radiographic Anatomy & Positioning I

hours (2 lecture/2 lab) Students in this course learn precise and detailed information on anatomy and positions of the chest, abdomen, upper and lower extremities, shoulder girdle, hip and pelvis, and upper and lower gastrointestinal system. Carefully correlated instruction in anatomy will precede each positioning unit. Laboratory sessions will include demonstrations of positions to develop skills necessary to succeed during clinical assignments. Anatomy and positions learned in this course are the basis for understanding more specialized procedures. Prerequisite(s)
