hours (3 lecture/0 lab) This course examines the role African Americans have played in the political, economic, cultural, and social movements within the United States from their arrival in America to the present. AAS: Social and behavioral science elective. Prerequisite(s) Appropriate assessment score or ENGL 1422 with a grade of C or better - Must be taken either prior to or at the same time as this course.
