RGT 2133 - Ethical and Legal Responsibilities RGT 2133 - Ethical and Legal Responsibilities Career and Technical Education Class Hours: 3 hours lecture. Semester Legal terminology, concepts, and principles will be presented in this course. Topics include misconduct, malpractice, legal and professional standards, and the ASRT scope of practice. The importance of proper documentation and informed consent is emphasized. This course will prepare students to better understand their patients, the patients’ families, and professional peers through comparison of diverse populations based on their value systems, cultural and ethnic influences, communication styles, socioeconomic influences, health risks, and life stages.
