PNV 1524 - IV Therapy & Pharmacology PNV 1524 - IV Therapy & Pharmacology Career and Technical Education Class Hours: 3 hours lecture and 2 hours lab. Semester This course provides the student with principles of IV therapy and pharmacology. Principles covered in the course include the administration of medication, administration of IV fluids, and administration of IV medications included in the scope of practice for the practical nurse. The expanded role of IV therapy included in this course is in accordance with the Mississippi Nursing Practice Law and Administration Code.
