HLT 1113 - Plant Materials I HLT 1113 - Plant Materials I Career and Technical Education Class Hours: 1 hour lecture and 4 hours lab. Semester A survey of common ornamental plants used in landscaping including deciduous and evergreen trees, shrubs, vines, ground covers, and annuals and perennials, this course includes instruction in basic classification and identification procedures and in the identifying characteristics, maintenance, and use of the plants in a horticultural setting. This course is designed to be in the fall semester.
