VTA 101 - Animal Care & Management VTA 101 - Animal Care & Management Lecture: 3 Lab: 2 This course introduces students to veterinary medicine with a focus on the role of the veterinary assistant. The topics taught will include basic animal nursing care and husbandry, restraint, anatomy & physiology, basic animal behavior, and common disease presentations and treatments of companion animals. There will be hands-on animal labs where students learn and demonstrate basic restraint and nursing care on companion animal species. Is course repeatable for credit?
