NURS 212 - Concepts of Nursing III NURS 212 - Concepts of Nursing III Lecture: 3 Lab: 5.5 This course utilizes the art and science of nursing including the principles of the nursing process, QSEN competencies, and the NCSBN test plan to assimilate knowledge, skills, and attitudes in the care of patients with complex health alterations. Some concepts include inflammation, glucose regulation, oxygenation, and perfusion. Students will gain knowledge in pharmacology related to specific disease processes. The clinical portion of this course focuses on the application of clinical reasoning skills. It continues the practice and application of assessment, communication, and psychomotor skills in practice settings focusing on patients with complex chronic and acute health care needs. BIO 250, BIO 251, BIO 240, COMM 101, ENG 101, HEAL 109, NURS 100, PSYC 101. A four-credit hour general elective must be completed prior to graduation. All of the general education courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or better. Concurrent NURS 222, minimum grade C, prior to or concurrently. Is course repeatable for credit?
