HIM 230 - Professional Practice I HIM 230 - Professional Practice I Lecture: 1 Lab: 4 In this course, students will utilize the JJC lab and/or various clinical sites for supervised professional practice. This experience will provide hands-on application of health information technology processes. Emphasis will be on MPI and other healthcare data management, chart deficiency, chart tracking applications, release of information and medical transcription.
