DMS 243 - Cerebrovascular and Special Circulation Sonography DMS 243 - Cerebrovascular and Special Circulation Sonography Lecture: 2 Lab: 2 This course introduces the use of diagnostic imaging with the use of Doppler for examining the vasculature of the human body. In this class, the student will learn about normal anatomy and the disease that affects the cerebrovascular and special circulatory system. Topics such as transcranial techniques, imaging and interpretation, intraoperative and post-operative monitoring, cerebral emboli detection, hemodialysis access fistulas and grafts, arterial bypass grafts and stents, central vascular access devices, vascular application of contrast agents and quality assurance are taught in this course.
