CIS 128 - Computers for Educators CIS 128 - Computers for Educators Lecture: 3 Lab: 0 An introductory course designed to students meet the Technology Standards for All Illinois Teachers. The course will focus on basic computer/technology operations and concepts; personal and professional use of technology; application of technology in instruction; social, ethical, and human issues related to computing and technology; the effective use of productivity tools to support instruction and enhance classroom management. Students will learn to utilize word processing, graphics, spreadsheet, database and communications software. They will also learn to evaluate current educational software packages for use in the classroom. Is course repeatable for credit?
