ELE 199 — Electrical Technology Internship*** ....................................variable 1

Prerequisite: Successful completion of at least 24 credit hours of course work and a minimum of a 2.0 GPA This course offers electrical technology students several options for acquiring work- based education in the electrical work site environment. Students may elect to partici- pate in an approved apprenticeship, internship, job shadowing, or mentoring activity as it pertains to their career goals. The course provides the opportunity to apply classroom theory and experience the dynamics of modern industry. Students complete 80 hours of on-the-job training per semester for each enrolled credit hour. Course requires 80 hours of work experience for each credit hour.
