CHM 221 — Organic Chemistry I
This is the first course in a two-semester sequence. T opics in this course include nomenclature, structure, physical and chemical properties, synthesis, and typical reactions for organ- ic compounds with special emphasis on reaction mechanisms and stereo chemistry. Laboratory is required.
