Associate of Science: Pre-Occupational Therapy
The Pre-Occupational Therapy Pathway is designed for students seeking to become Occupational Therapists. Approximately three years of college prerequisite classes are required to gain admission to an occupational therapy program. Completing two years of college at Jackson State will prepare students to transfer to a suitable four year institution where the remaining required courses would be offered. Students at Jackson State work closely with science faculty and have access to science labs and computer facilities. Students also acquire the fundamental academic skills needed to pursue a higher degree.
