.................................. 3 cr. ................................................................................... 24 Clin. hrs./week Pre-Req: Admitted to the RADT program Co-Req: RADT 2385, RADT 2195 This course is a continuation of Radiographic Practicum IV and is de - signed for students to participate in radiographic examinations under approved supervision in the clinical setting. Experience in a variety of procedures will assist students in applying theory and developing specific levels of competence. Students will demonstrate advanced use of radiographic equipment, along with the display of professional level skills in positioning, patient care, interpersonal communications, im - age analysis, and radiation safety practices. Advanced improvement of critical thinking and problem solving skills for non-routine situations will be exhibited along with exposure to special exams. Competence at this advanced level will be evaluated and documented for a selected category of exams.
