.......................... 3 cr. ........................................................................................3 Lec. hrs./week Pre-Req: None Co-Req: None Nursing assistants work in a variety of settings, ranging from within the home, to an office or a clinic, or to an extended care of acute care hospital setting. This course, which is designed to run concurrently with the classroom section, will allow students to learn skills to pro - vide care to various types of patients. Skills include assessing patients, documenting vital signs, giving baths, feeding and dressing residents, and assisting patients in many life activities.
