Phlebotomy Technician
The Phlebotomy Technician course (HOC 145) at Jackson College prepares students to perform blood collection procedures in healthcare settings. The curriculum covers infection control, legal and ethical practices, and proper specimen handling. Completers are eligible to sit for the Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) exam through the National Healthcareer Association. Graduates are prepared to work as phlebotomists in hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and blood donation centers.
