VISC 201 - Raster Graphics II VISC 201 - Raster Graphics II Experience with the digital imaging environment includes calibrating scanning processes, digital camera input, manipulating images in black and white and color, working with retouching for advertising, illustrating text, and working with various output devices. Digital color spaces as they relate to various output devices will be covered. Calibration for 4-color separations and pre-press procedures will be discussed as well as preparing images properly for the web. REQUIRED SOFTWARE: This class makes use of industry-standard Adobe software. Students will NOT be able to complete the coursework without the use of Adobe software. Only students enrolled in Visual Communications courses that use Adobe software have been assigned an Adobe license. Not all students will have the ability to access Adobe software at home. All Visual Communications labs are outfitted with the latest Adobe software. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Please note that not every computer can run Adobe software. Verify your system can operate Adobe applications through the Adobe System Requirements website.
