SPED 102 - Introduction to Inclusive Teaching and Learning SPED 102 - Introduction to Inclusive Teaching and Learning Students will explore the philosophy and rationale for inclusive teaching and best practices for the classroom teacher. Integration of all learners into the classroom community, promoting social and academic development and providing a safe and positive environment are examined. Current trends and issues in education will be examined, including the science of teaching and learning. This course may be taught in face-to-face, virtual, blended, and Learn Anywhere formats. Department Chair approval required. Must be taken at home campus. OBSERVATIONAL FIELD EXPERIENCE STATEMENT: A 20-hour (minimum) in-person observational field experience is required for successful completion of this course. MAJOR COURSE LEARNING
