The emphasis is on gaining experience in the management of neonatal, pediatric, and obstetric patients. Provides opportunities to practice assessment, communication and management with patients ranging from neonate to young adults and opportunities to observe live births and perform assessment of obstetric patients are also available. Assessing the critically ill patient and assisting with care in specialty intensive care units and the burn unit is included. MAJOR COURSE LEARNING
