Anatomical structures and the plane that best demonstrates anatomy are discussed as well as signal characteristics of normal and abnormal structures. Content familiarizes the student with the common pathologies found in magnetic resonance imaging and the appearance of these pathologies in various imaging protocols. Content covers a broad spectrum of commonly-imaged body systems and areas. Content provides basic concepts of pharmacology. This section covers the theory and practice of basic techniques of venipuncture and administration of diagnostic contrast agents and/or intravenous medications.
