HSPS 167 - Fire Fighter II HSPS 167 - Fire Fighter II This course will continues to expose the student to the requirements of NFPA 1010 and NFPA1500, 2024 Edition, Professional Qualifications for Firefighters, which serves as the standard of measurement for all firefighters in North America. Students will study fire protection systems, firefighter safety and survival. Students will also learn what fire is, the chemical hazards of combustion and related by- products of fire. Fire department organization, administration, operations, and basic strategies and tactics will be covered. MAJOR COURSE LEARNING
