EDUC 234 - Adolescent Literacy and Instruction EDUC 234 - Adolescent Literacy and Instruction This course focuses on science of reading theory and implementation in the secondary classroom, the traditional and nontraditional aspects of literacy, such as classic works, technical sources for the specific content areas. The benefits and rewards to literature will be discussed - enjoyment, aesthetics, comprehension strategies, imagination, cognition, language, multicultural integration, as well as, the development of the love of reading.
