DMSI 210 - Vascular Sonography III and La DMSI 210 - Vascular Sonography III and La Studies will include the upper and lower peripheral venous systems and the abdominal vascular system. There will be a study of the upper and lower peripheral venous systems to include the anatomy, physiology, pathology, pathophysiology, and hemodynamics. Pathologies of the abdominal vascular and organ structures are covered as well as pathophysiologic effects on organs, systems, hemodynamics, and sonographic and Doppler appearances. Hemodialysis grafts and fistulas will also be discussed as well as protocol for these structures. Spectral waveform analysis and changes due to pathology will be presented. Sonographic and medical terminology will also be discussed. MAJOR COURSE LEARNING
