The class covers anatomy in the thorax, abdomen, pelvis and extremities as well as CT angiography in cross sectional plane and all structures and functions pertaining to the related anatomy. Discusses common pathologies related to the anatomy. Students will also identify symptoms related to certain pathologies, understand the effects on scan parameters, and learn the latest trends in CT, such as trauma, virtual CT, and radiation treatment planning.
