ASEP 219 - GM ASEP Engine Performance III ASEP 219 - GM ASEP Engine Performance III Emphasis is placed on advanced diagnosis, service, and repair of engine performance systems, including the electronic control module’s input sensors, output actuators, and emission-control strategies. Students practice the safe use of precision measuring instruments and GM-specific tools and service information to troubleshoot, service, and repair complex engine management systems. Throughout the course, students complete required modules in GM’s Center of Learning (service technician online training) and finish the sequence by taking the ASE A8 Engine Performance certification exam.
