ASEP 125 - GM ASEP Driveline Mechanical Theory and Repair ASEP 125 - GM ASEP Driveline Mechanical Theory and Repair Emphasis is placed on the proper use of precision measuring tools and GM-specific tools and equipment to diagnose, service, and repair the mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems of transmissions found in GM passenger vehicles and light-duty trucks. Students also continue required GM Center of Learning (service technician online training) modules and prepare for the nationally recognized ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification exams.
