ASEP 109 - GM ASEP Engine Performance Systems I ASEP 109 - GM ASEP Engine Performance Systems I Students study the fundamental operation of internal combustion engines, including gasoline direct injection and diesel injection. Emphasis is placed on the diagnosis, service, and repair of air induction, ignition, fuel storage and delivery, and electronic engine control systems, as well as emission control strategies and techniques. Students learn to use precision measuring instruments and GM specialty tools to diagnose, service, and repair engine performance systems. Required GM Center of Learning modules continue in this course, and students build readiness for related ASE certification exams. MAJOR COURSE LEARNING
