STS 2324C — Surgical Specialties & Procedures II

In this course, students expand upon their knowledge to the ore complex study of surgical interventions and corresponding anatomical systems of the body. Perioperative case management, instrumentation, equipment, and procedural steps are defined and discussed with focus on the following specialties: peripheral vascular, cardiothoracic, oral/maxillofacial, and neurosurgery. The perioperative case of the individualized patient is included.

Prerequisites: STS 2323C, STS 2365C, STS 2944L
