PHT 1121 — Functional Anatomy and Kinesiology

In this course, students apply anatomy for human movement, providing a foundation with biomechanics, manual muscle testing, muscle length testing, and goniometry. Students master anatomical concepts related to the musculoskeletal system such as origins, insertions, nerve innervation, and actions of muscles. Students discuss aspects of normal functional gait and posture as it relates to function.
