MLT 1525 — Immunohematology (Blood Bank)

In this course, students apply immunohematology principles and standard techniques used in blood banking: ABO, RH typing antibody screening, and compatibility testing. The emphasis is on appropriate collection, handling, and testing of specimens in the area of blood banking. Students review technical problems, identification of antibodies, and blood component preparation and storage.
