CJK 0301 — Introduction to Corrections (N)

In this course students learn the correctional system and the role of the correctional officer. Emphasis is placed on professionalism, ethics, communication, and the structure of the criminal justice system. Topics include inmate rights, security procedures, and the application of policies and laws in correctional settings.
