3.0 Credit(s) Lecture 3 Lab 0 Marriage and Family acquaints students with theoretical, methodological, and substantive issues in the sociological study of marriage and family. The course begins with a basic orientation on the structure of the family in society and in other cultures. Other topics include premarital interaction, mate selection, marital and sexual adjustment, and alternative utopian family experience.
