PNN229 — Foundations of Nursing II
4.0 Credit(s) Lecture 3.75 Lab 0.75 Foundations of Nursing II focuses on the care of adult patients with health alterations that require medical and/or surgical intervention. The course provides a decision-making framework, through the nursing process, to assist students in developing effective clinical judgment skills. Students integrate pathophysiology, pharmacology and nutrition in the selected disease states, with concepts of evidenced-based practice, patient-centered care, safety and professionalism.
