1.0 Credit(s) Lecture 1 Lab 0 Dental Emergencies examines elements of dental hygiene care as they relate to the treatment planning of special patient and medical emergencies in the dental office. A major portion of the course deals with the prevention, recognition and management of medical emergencies which occur in the dental office with specific emphasis on systemic disease processes.
