Topics include: structure of the atom, chemical bonding, stoichiometry, and kinetic theory of matter as applied to gases, liquids, and solids. General Chemistry I Lab explores the fundamentals of chemistry, emphasizing laboratory technique, data collection and analysis, and technical writing. Laboratory work complements each topic of study.
