AGV805 — Veterinary Technology Internship I
2.0 Credit(s) Lecture 0 Lab 0 Internship 8 Veterinary Technology Internship I is a cooperative education program during the first summer session of the veterinary technology program. Students work in the veterinary medical industry under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian for a minimum of 128 . Students receive experience and mentoring in the following areas: scheduling appointments, filing radiographs, reports and client records; maintaining facility records; managing inventory; and handling routine financial transactions. Students also receive experience in a variety of clinical areas to be agreed upon prior to the internship between the student, the veterinarian, and the veterinary technology program chair.
